Early Spring In Texas

After escaping the debilitating yet beautiful snow that hit the Midwest last weekend we enjoyed a few rainy days in Texas while visiting Bill's Dad and family. On our last day, however, the sun broke through the clouds and we were treated to 70 degree weather on our drive to the airport.

It was a whirlwind trip and mini-family reunion. Poor Great-Nana K. had us plus Ryan and Kristin, Elizabeth and Ava invade her normally sedate and peaceful household. Reina finally adjusted to the mayhem on our last day as well. The "Queen" as she was called the entire time, preferred to be carried around rather than use her own 2 feet. She did enjoy playing with Liz and Ava. They taught her how to "boop" and she liked pat-patting Milo's head as well.

I call this "Portrait of Bub," who always seems to be behind the camera, rather than in front. And yes, the Yorkshire pudding was DELICIOUS!

cousin photo-op, this was the best one I got, there are probably better out there....

Elizabeth tried tickling Reina to make her smile for this one!
