Eyes Wide Open

My mom said she never sees pictures of Reina with her eyes open. I said, "hey, she's a baby, cut her some slack!" Here's some proof she doesn't sleep all of the time...although 6 hours in a row overnight is fine by me. This week sleeping at night has been a regular occurrence thanks to the baby straight jacket given to us by our friend and knowledgeable mom, Stephanie. For those of you who think we are putting our child in a torture device, don't worry. It is merely a swaddle blanket with convenient velcro tabs to keep the kid well wrapped at night. The torture will come in the teenage years when Bill will try to think of creative ways to embarrass the crap out of her!
